Quality Prince of Persia action.
POP or Prince of Persia as it's know to us, is a very similar experience to dining at a Gaucho Grill. Ok, it may not be the most perfect steak in the world (for that you gotta try Kobe beef) but it's going to be pretty damn good. You know what you're going to get too, decent service, a succulent juicy steak cooked to perfection, and an ambience and atmosphere that usually enhances the dining experience. Can you tell I haven't eaten dinner yet?
Each of the different aspects of POP have been finished to a very high standard. It may not be a Fishlabs game, but Gameloft know how to do 2D action really well. The graphics are more lush and stunning than the previous version of Prince of Persia (it's been ages - almost 3 years - check out the review here), and the colours are very vibrant throughout. The animation on the rolls, jumps and running across the walls is expertly done, as are all the fighting moves. Sound is very decent with several tunes and plenty of sound effects to enhance the gameplay (like the atmosphere and ambience mentioned above). The sound when your sword starts swinging is particularly satisfying.
